Ep 1: Life in Abstract

promo1.jpg

So many of the people living here in Qatar have bizarre, intriguing, heartwarming stories. Join us on our journey to explore Qatar's diversity and multiculturalism. Tune in and listen to the fascinating stories that the people of Qatar have to share.

Qatar in Quotes' first guest is Erick Kirimi, a Kenyan security guard at Georgetown University in Qatar who developed a career in Art since coming to Doha. Kirimi’s story is far from perfectly heartwarming, as the courageous and inspiring young man takes us on a strenuous journey that began in the streets of Kenya, and eventually led him to Qatar. As Kirimi hopes to expand his passion for art to a full-time job, he is also set on inspiring migrant workers to believe in their dreams as well: “we have a life after our uniform.”
